The Hayes/Morton Inn is a large farmhouse circa 1900
that has been restored for guests at Brierfield Ironworks Historical State Park.
The Inn contains two rental suites that each contains a sitting room and a
bedroom. In addition, the suites share a spacious dining room and modern
kitchen. The entire facility is furnished with antiques from the correct era in
a usage that would be typical of a “well to do” home of the period.
Functional fireplaces are located in the dining room
and in each sitting room. In addition, the “Blue Suite” bedroom also has a
fireplace. Firewood is furnished with the Inn during the cooler months. In
addition, each suite has its own heating and cooling system.
Towels and linens are furnished however gusts
should bring their own soap and toiletries.
Each suite rents for $95 per night. Both bedrooms
have a queen bed and there is a sofa in the sitting rooms. The sofas are NOT
sleeper sofas. If additional beds are desired the park has roll-a-way beds that
can be rented from the Country Store for an additional charge of $5 per night.
